About the role

Leaseable is looking for thoughtful, honest, and ambitious sales and business development leader to join us and lead our efforts to: 

  • Establish successful, foundational and long-term relationships with commercial property owners, investors and operators; 

  • Work with Leaseable’s leadership team to develop our sales strategy, sales processes, and engagement approach with both prospective and existing customers; 

  • Partner with Leaseable’s leadership team to build a world class sales team that delivers high performance with high ethics, and makes a positive impact for our customers. 

  • Collaborate with Leaseable’s Customer Success team to make a positive impact to our customers that translates to long-term customer relationships.

This is a chance to grow a early-stage sales operation into a growth engine for Leaseable. We have a product that has excellent but early market acceptance, and we are looking to further build evidence necessary for us to win in the marketplace: excellent reference customers, business value stories, and credibility and trust in our market, along with significant growth.

Specific sales/business development responsibilities include:

  • Partner with marketing and company leadership to generate, qualify and close opportunities

  • Manage your pipeline and exceed revenue goals

  • Listen to customers, sell business value, and negotiate win-win outcomes 

  • Balance small / expansion opportunities along with complex larger deals 

  • Represent Leaseable at industry events; acting as both a thought leader and sales executive 

  • Become an expert on all aspects of commercial real estate’s tenant lifecycle, asset management process, transactional support needs, and related data and insight requirements

  • Partner with company leadership across product, marketing and customer success teams to ensure exceptional customer experience 

Company development responsibilities include: 

  • Learn and help develop our sales processes, product benefits, and customer value proposition 

  • Deeply understand the metrics and processes associated with prospect and customer engagement, specifically sales cycle times, asset expansion timing, and common objections.

  • Develop a sales persona and lead hiring for our growing sales team

  • Develop a sales compensation strategy and plan that aligns company goals with market-based incentives.


  • 5+ years of experience in a sales/business development role in SaaS or data services

  • Demonstrated ability to consistently set and beat stretch sales targets

  • Exceptional listening skills and a quick learner 

  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

  • Influential presence and the ability to quickly build trust and cultivate new relationships, with empathy for customers, and passion for helping them

  • Thoughtful with an informed opinion about sales, customer engagement, and compensation strategy that aligns with our business and company goals

  • Managerial experience nice to have with demonstrated leadership qualities

  • Experience with hiring and supporting the development of new sales employees

  • Self-starter personality and comfort with ambiguity; ideal candidates will have experience working in rapidly-changing environments and adapting and contributing to evolving sales processes

  • Passionate about the power of data 

  • Commercial real estate relationships a strong plus
